Oahu has the highest concentration of medical cannabis retail locations in Hawaii, with three licensed dispensaries operating 11 retail storefronts across the island. Whether you are in Waikiki, downtown Honolulu, the windward side, or the leeward coast, there is a dispensary within reasonable driving distance.

All three Oahu dispensaries are vertically integrated, meaning they grow, process, and sell their own products. Each has built a distinct identity and product line, giving Oahu patients more variety than any other island.

329 Card Required for All Purchases

Every Oahu dispensary requires a valid 329 card or 329V visitor card. No walk-in recreational purchases are allowed. Visitors can apply for a 329V card online at medmj.ehawaii.gov up to 60 days before arrival.

Aloha Green — 4 Locations

Aloha Green operates four retail locations on Oahu, making it one of the most accessible dispensaries on the island. Their locations cover both tourist-heavy areas and residential neighborhoods:

  • Honolulu — centrally located for easy access from most parts of the island
  • Kapolei — serving West Oahu and the Ewa Beach area
  • King Street — near downtown Honolulu, convenient for Chinatown and Kaka'ako
  • Waikiki — the most convenient option for visitors staying in the tourist district

Aloha Green carries a full range of products including flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, topicals, and vape cartridges. Their Waikiki location is particularly popular with 329V visitor cardholders.

Cure Oahu — 3 Locations

Cure Oahu has three retail locations serving different parts of the island:

  • Kailua — serving the windward side, convenient for patients in Kaneohe, Kailua, and Waimanalo
  • Kapolei — another West Oahu option for leeward coast residents
  • Kapahulu — near Waikiki and Diamond Head, accessible from both the tourist area and residential Honolulu

Cure Oahu is known for its focus on quality cultivation and a curated product selection. Their Kapahulu location provides a second dispensary option near the Waikiki visitor corridor.

Noa Botanicals — 4 Locations

Noa Botanicals matches Aloha Green with four locations spread across Oahu:

  • Aiea — serving Pearl City, Aiea, and the central Oahu corridor
  • Honolulu — in the urban core for central access
  • Kaneohe — another windward option, complementing Cure Oahu's Kailua store
  • Waikiki — giving visitors a second dispensary choice in the tourist district

Noa Botanicals has invested heavily in their cultivation and processing operations, offering a wide variety of strains and product types. Their two Waikiki-area locations (alongside Aloha Green's) give visitor cardholders multiple options without leaving the tourist district.

Federal Land on Oahu

Oahu has extensive federal property including Pearl Harbor, Schofield Barracks, Hickam Air Force Base (JBPHH), and Honolulu International Airport (Daniel K. Inouye). Cannabis is illegal on all federal property regardless of your 329 card status. See our federal land warning.

Getting to Dispensaries on Oahu

Oahu has the best public transit system in Hawaii. TheBus serves most dispensary locations, though a rental car or rideshare is often faster. The Waikiki dispensary locations are walkable from most hotels in the tourist district. For windward and leeward locations, plan for a 20–40 minute drive from Waikiki depending on traffic — Oahu's rush hour congestion is notoriously heavy on the H-1 freeway.
